Other Bunny and Guinea pig friendship

I rescued my bunny from a bad home and found out he’s now a year old and he loves spending time with my Guinea pig they eat together drink water together he eats hay on his house and my Guinea pig eats it on the cage floor they will eat at the same time or drink water together sometimes also

Please be careful. Rabbits can hurt or kill guinea pigs because of the size difference - via rabbit kicks, for example. Rabbits also carry diseases that your pig could catch. Please be mindful when keeping them together. You may see a lot of media and happy images of bunnies/gpigs together, but it is not wise.

Please don’t put your guinea pig and your rabbit together. As mentioned previously, rabbits have strong hind legs and can easily injure guinea pigs. They may also show dominance and mount a guinea pig injuring its back.

Healthy rabbits, dogs, and cats carry Bordatella, which is a contagious respiratory disease. Guinea pigs are highly susceptible to Bordatella and it is deadly.
