PLEASE NO CRITISISIM WHICH IS ALL THE HELP I HAVE FOUND SO FAR.

But I looked at the site and couldn't find the page about actually building a C&C cage. I also looked at ones you could buy at the site and they were very expensive. What about a cage from a petstore do those work (like the big ones)? I would need step by step directions on building one because I really know nothing about C&C cages. When I had my old guinea pigs people didn't have C&C cages that I knew or had ever heard of.

Oh my gosh I found it but I must have not been looking hard enough sorry. Although if you have any tips about it that would be good.

I really do not understand these cages at all so if you could give me a short run down on what the basic idea is.
Especially the good stuff like why cleaning is easier.

Puzzle ok thanks. Any ideas on buying good C&C cages for cheap, I do not really think the 5 page instructions for building one is for me. Maybe if my mom understands though, but it seems like not to good of an idea especially if we need one to be put up quick enough.

C&C cages are the cheapest (suitable) cages your going to find. The cheapest way is to buy grids from a walmart or superstore or just about any store with a storage isle. You can find the coroplast at any sign store, or Rona, Canadian Tire (in Canada) or just about any other hardware store. The most you will spend is roughly $35.

Oh wow thats great! I saw some to buy for lots of money. Well wow. Can you give me a list of what I will need to build one?

Scissors or a box cutter. Regular scissors will work, but a heavy-duty pair is better.
Pen or Magic Marker
Tape measure or Yard Stick
Yard stick or straight edge for marking
Clear packing tape
Razor blade or box cutter
Coroplast
and Grids
It's all on this page!! (I think you should read it)

I printed those pages and will read them closer to getting my guinea pig but I didn't see an item list.

Alfie, C&C are easier and more forgiving than you think. I can't cut in a straight line but my cage turned out just fine. The size of coroplast you'll need for each cage size is given. I strongly suggest that when you go buy the coroplast that you ask them to cut it to those dimensions. It will save you from doing it yourself! It kinda helped me to think of one of those shirt boxes that stores give out during Christmas. It's like a big one of those and is folded the same way. Also, I used super glue instead of tape to keep mine together. Good luck!

Alfie, I am giving you your last warning. I already told you that posting in all caps is considered yelling and to stop doing it, yet here you are doing it again. One more step out of line and you will be banned for a week.

5 page instructions? What on earth are you reading?

We have all given you the link to the home page in various posts, yet you still decide on making thread after thread, even though the answers are all on the homepage.

C&C cages are not hard to make as you think - you just connect all the cubes together with zip ties and make a rectangular box out of the corrugated plastic (coroplast). That's it! You will need a sharp stanley knife, a peice of wood (to act as a straight edge), some selotape and zip ties.

I went to the Making A C&C cage and I printed it out. It printed 5 pages.

Oh wow when you don't print it it looks a lot easier.
