View attachment 62055 I think he is American but I'm not sure because he's a white belly. So what breed is he?:)

The color doesn't change the breed, breed is completely dependent on fur, so he is an American, and the variety is a silver agouti :) Such a pretty color, love it! Silver agouti means the base of each hair shaft if black, and the tips of the hairs are white, and the belly is white.

Would you be able to tell me what type my piggy is, i'm assuming american?
& What colour? He's basically white, with a brown bit in between his ears, he then has a large patch of town, then by his bottom is a medium sized patch of dark brown (there's some white patches in the tan)

Thank you !

Your right! The breed is America, and the variety would be a chocolate, red, and white broken. LOVE those last two photos by the way :)

It depends a bit, if she's still a baby she might be just a Peruvian, but if she's full grown I would say a Peruvian/ Abyssinian mix. The variety is a chocolate and white broken :)

She's a Baby still, 12 weeks old.

Alright, then you can just watch as she gets bigger to see how long her hair gets. If it stays kind of medium length I'd say Abby/Peruvian mix, if she gets full ou long sweeps I'd say just Peruvian :)

What breed? She feels like cotton batting. This is our newest addition. She was in a cage with five other males so we took her. Hopefully she is not pregnant.

Hi there! Can you tell me about my piggie!?! I am new to the GP world!!! Have only had Peanut for about 2 weeks. (Also, that picture was in his pet store cage on day 1. He is now in a C&C cage!)

Sorry, I don't have pigtures. Mine are from the UK though, but sure my male is a Self Red and my girl is a Red-eyed Dutch (they are both neutered) My past guiea pig was a Golden American question, I'll see if I can get pigtures.

Pekoe is an Abyssinian for the breed, and a Cream for the variety. Cappuccino is an American for the breed and a Silver Agouti and White Broken for the variety. :)

Ok, so in the first picture the breed is American, and the variety is a Dilute Agouti. Dilute Agouti's vary, this one is specifically a "lemon agouti" which means it has a black base and cream tip to the hair. The little cream brindling isn't enough to constitute for it being a broken.

The second picture, both are White Cresteds for the breed, and Golden Agouti and White Broken for the variety. (It's hard to see in the picture, but if they have any solid redish colored patches (without the ticking), they would be Golden Agouti, Red, and White Brokens.)

The third picture, the momma is an Abyssinian for the breed and a Red and White Broken for the variety. The baby on the left is an American, and the variety is a Black and White broken. The baby on the right is also an American, and the variety is a Lilac (unless there are other patches of color).

Hope it makes sense :) Let me know if you have any questions. Really cute pigs!
