I did a search on the forum, and found contradicting answers, so I would like an answer from someone who really knows what they are talking about on this subject.

I got my male, Bodie, neutered over a year ago. Once in a while, I find what I can only be described as boar glue on the fleece.

So my question is this: Can NEUTERED boars produce boar glue?

If so, how on Earth do you get it out how a sow's fur around her bottom that is so embedded it's connected to the skin?

The answer is yes. They cannot produce sperm anymore but they can still produce ejaculatory fluids.

I've never had this problem but maybe try some mineral oil to loosen it up.

Oh yeah, totally. I have three neutered males - it's definitely normal.

What I do is loosen up the goo from their fur with mineral oil and then cut out what can't be removed with oil. Non-scented baby wipes also help.

Thanks Ly and Paula! I'll give the mineral a try! I have tried other things like: a butt bath (she needs them!), coconut oil, and cutting it out. It's just that it is connected to her skin, but if I can't get it out, I'll take her to the vet and let them deal with it. I know that it is causing her some level of discomfort, when I was trying to gently get it out last night, she bit me for the first time. Thanks for the advice!
