boar and sow..

i am house sitting a sow, she is a year old and double the size of my boar whos 4 months old. they get along well if they are only together for a short time. If they are together too long the sow pulls rank and snaps at him. So with this all i separated tem but she chews at the gate and pulls at it and he whines for her. I dont know what to do, they fight whan there together but whine for each other when apart. The sow got sprayed so theres not chnace of pregnacy but hes still a little horn dog and i thinkt hats what is bothering her, or piggie pms! any sudgestings welcomed!

ok let me tell you about the birds and the bees.lol anyways.Well the boar smells the scent of the female so thats why he flips out whne they can see eachother but not get to eachother.They'll fight ofcourse cause the female doesnt wanna mate but the boar does.Their ok forawhile and then the male pisses the sow off enough to fight.
