HI, i have been asking my mom if we could adopt a pig but she always says no and will never say yes. i have one guinea pig and she is in a 37"*19" cage. i know it is too small and want to make a c and c cage. Will the bigger cage make her happ ier even tho i cant get her a friend.

yes, the bigger cage witll make her happier.

Yes, in a bigger cage your pig will have lots more things to do.

It will make her happier, but nothing can compare to that of another guinea pig.

Yes, I'm with Dagwell.

A bigger cage will no doubt be better for her. Look at it this way, if you had to live in a small closet and all of a sudden you had a chance to live in a large room, what would you rather live in? A larger cage will give your piggie room to run around and play.

Maybe you can keep trying to convince your mom to get your pig a same sex buddy.

Yes, and also let your mom know that the expense of a second guinea pig isn't too great. I've been told that it probably only costs about $5 more to care for a second pig. Since they'd live in the same cage, eat the same food, drink the same water, play with the same toys, etc. I think the only major difference with cost is with the vet. And unless your piggie(s) get sick, you only need an annual check-up. (Unless I was told wrong. Then PLEASE correct me. I'd hate to give false information.)

You need to pay for extra vegetables, since you are feeding two mouth, but still, the cost is not that much higher. Yes an annual check up sounds right. Go for the bigger cage, it will make tons of difference

Definetly get her a bigger c+c cage. Show your mom the website if you need to (it convinced my mom)!

Getting her a friend is a really good idea, and maybe you should talk with your mom on how it would make your current pig so much happier.
