Best combination for socialization

What would be the best option for a companion for a 7 week old female - a neutered male or another female? Also, does the age of the second pig matter? Thanks in advance. Also, how do you go about introducing them so that there is no fighting?

I would suggest getting an older pig that has already gone through puberty. neeutered male would also be fine.

We have a neutered male (Cinnamon) and an unspayed female (Coco). They get along fine, although Cinnamon is a bit on the bossy side.

Personally I love to see a neutered male and a female together, but an older female would work.
