lets talk about bearded dragons...........

Do you have one? I've heard they're kind of like dogs in lizard bodies. I wanted one when I was younger, but my mom is freaked out by a surprising number of different animals (rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, etc...) A couple years ago our family was going to adopt guinea pigs, but my mom was scared of them so we adopted two rabbits instead. Isn't she crazy?! Who would be afraid of guinea pigs?

My friend has two beared dragons, one is named Charlie the other is Bob.

are they hard to take care of, like degus?

Our relatives had two bearded dragons. They need vegetables and crickets with vitamin enrichment powder. They also need a large space that is cleaned frequently. I would say a C&C cage that is 2x3 cleaned once a week should be fine. Keep them away from drafts and provide them with a heating lamp, warm stone, and cool shaded area.

Their personalities are great. They would just sit on your lap/shoulder/leg for an hour. We could watch an entire movie holding the lizard. I think they're attractive, also. I personally think they are rather smelly, however. And they can carry salmanila.
