FINALLY got the first of three videos of my new boys getting baths uploaded. This one is of Boris. I'll upload the other ones shortly.

That was funny. Poor Boris, but I bet he smelled better. I like the random hand of help, it made me laugh.

Yeah, James got home halfway through with the bag of rags and came in to check on me. Then he went to finish building their cage. (You can hear some banging from the grids towards the end, I think.)

Aw he was being so well behaved at first but clearly had enough very quickly. He's a gorgeous boy

Here is Snidely's bath video. For clarification- the vet had treated him for mites, even though she didn't think he had any. He was missing fur, but I think it was due to stress or something. The cage the three of them were living in and the nutrition they were receiving was AWFUL.

Also, there's a song in there so if you don't want to hear it, mute the video after my intro. The sound was even more off than on Boris' video, so I just gave up and muted it out and put in a song.

About the song, Paper Planes by M.I.A., I chose it because James often sings to the pigs-

"All I wanna do is (wheek wheek wheek wheek)
and take your parsley"

instead of "All I wanna do is (bang bang bang bang) and take your money".

Considering it was your first bath I'd say you did quite well! I have not yet attempted to bathe my piggies but I can tell you, when it came to bathing my newborn babies I was all over the place! Heck, even my cats I probably looked like I was trying to drown them rather than bathe them! hehe

Good Job! I remember you and these three guys when you were just talking about picking them up! So cute! I really thought Hugo was going to escape! Snidely was good the whole time and Boris started out being good, but then he'd had enough! HaHa! Funny! Thanks for sharing!
