I have a piggy that is 5 months old. I've only had him for a couple weeks now and I love him to death, but the poor little thing is half white and has alot of white fur on his underside. My problem is he keeps peeing inside of one of the pvc pipes thats in my boys cage and then he just lays in it. So then he's all full of pee and is stinky and gross! How can I get him to stop this? Is it because he is still young? And should I give him a bath after he does it everytime? His hair is turning yellow on his tummy, any ways to stop this too? TIA!

First of all I would remove the tube that he is peeing in for a while so he gets used to peeing somewhere else - give him a box or something like that to hide in that has no bottom. If you feel he needs a bath use just a little bit of water and make sure it's neither too hot or too cool. Make sure you dry him well and don't let him get chilled. Obviously if the tube isn't there he can't pee in it. Justs give him something to hide in with no bottom to it.

Agreed. I remember when I got some of the pigloos with the solid bottoms - their underbellies were a smelly mess in minutes! Now I just use bottomless props in the cage, although the cardboard 'chubes' don't seem to get messy - probably because the cardboard has some absorbancy.

Maybe when you put the pvc pipe back in (if you do) you could put some bedding in th pipe.
