So I know on the nutrition chart it says to feed banana once a month, and it's a red column.

I'm just curious what it is about them? I just gave each pig a little chunk (like tiny) and they both seemed to really enjoy it.

What would happen if I fed it to them more often? I know rabbits can have it way more often.

Bananas can cause bloat in guinea pigs, which is very painful and fatal if left untreated. You can feed banana in small amounts, but avoid feeding it too frequently -- I would limit it to two or three times a month at maximum just to be on the safe side.

They can literally blow up their digestive track. Fed them sparingly because it causes bloat which can be fatal and very painful. I'd feed them up to 4, but I would stick to 3.
Here's some help-https://exoticpets.about.com/cs/guineapigs/a/gpsfeeding.htm
