Banana peppers

I got some banana peppers from my in-laws and wondered if they were ok to feed my bubbies. Has anyone fed them to their piggies.

I'm sorry, I started calling them bubbie just because I had never heard anybody else call them that until recently.

What are bannana peppers? Do you have a picture?

They are smaller and thinner than bell peppers. They are usually sweet so feed in moderation.

Banana peppers also have a bit of heat. They aren't as bad as jalepenos, but still have a little bit of capsicum (the stuff in chilis that makes them hot). Generally speaking with veggies in the pepper family, the smaller they are the hotter they are. Bell peppers usually being the sweetest because they are the largest, and so on down to Thai chilis and habaneros being hotter than most sane people can handle without being cooked into something else.
