Baking wood to treat fungus.
I was given advice on this forum that baking a wooden house (fiddlestix, etc..) would kill any of the fungus on the wood. Which does make sense to me because I would think nothing could survive temperatures like that.
I recently posted a medical question on the Guinea Lynx forum and was told that baking would not rid the wood of the fungus.
I just wanted to know what some of your opinions and/or experiences have been with this.
Thanks.
