Back from Vacation with sad news

As some of you all know, I went to Indiana for a few days to visit my oldest son. Marnie (Moppy's surviving pup) wasn't doing very well at all when I left last Wednesday morning. My parents continued to handfeed Marnie but little Marnie passed away last Saturday afternoon.

I already told you in chat but let me say again how sorry I am.

It makes sense now why Moppy wasn't caring for her. Most likely she could tell that something was wrong with the baby. At least Chatty cared for the little girl along with you and your parents. I'm sure there was nothing more you could have done.

Oh, Ly, that is just horrible news. I was already so sorry for all that you have had to go thru. This just makes it that much worse. I guess Moppy did know what she was doing after all, but still it is just terrible. I assume your son knows. I bet he never does that again!

I am sooooooo sorry for your lost Ly, I really hope your son realize more now since another precious is gone. At least she is with other sibling that she never met till now. My prayers are with you Ly along with Chatty and Moppy. How are the rest doing.

Yes, my son knows. He was at my parent's house too while I was on vacation and my son along with my dad brought Marnie home and buried her in the backyard and Jesse (son) made her a gravestone. Thank you all for your kind words. I knew in my heart when I left last Wednesday morning that she wouldn't make it, but it was still so very hard hearing the words last night and I cried. I really miss my little frog legs as I had nicknamed her because of this picture.



Rest well my little Marnie. Just know you were loved and will be missed.

Oh Ly- this must be so hard. I honestly feel terrible- she was my favorite pup.

We are always here for support, and Marnie is looking down from the parsley fields and knows what a good mommy she had.

That picture was taken when she was living, I think she was about 3 days old in that picture. I just love the way she is stretched out looking like a little tadpole.
