:D hello all, guess what?!?!? the babies are eatting, playing, walking, running, following mommy. they are doing so good. i saw one baby runnin around (at 6 in the morning) with an apple in its mouth. we have decided what we are going to do with the babies, we want to keep them, if we only keep one the other is going to a home with a vet assi. who already has 3 so a good home :) . the only bad thing is one on the babies have an extra toe...hard to explan it looks like it is going to fall off but it atta. by looks like a thin veiny thing...i just lefted it alone...doesnt seem to bother the baby should i worry? but they are sooooo cute! im happy and i love them!

their names are bonnie and bella even though i think they are boys

Re: babies

Polydactals are a result of poor breeding. Inbreeding in that case, I believe.

You need to make SURE that who ever you adopt any out to DOES NOT BREED them.

The extra toe may need to be removed if it presents a danger of getting caught on something. They are usually on big deal.

However, I've noticed families with polydactals are also more suspectable to spurs, which need to be kept trimmed as well:
