I, muffin_401, would like to introduce the THREE latest members of my piggy family.... THEY ARE SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!

She must of had them some time this afternoon... she was still prego when I left for school this morning and I just got home now, AND THEY ARE HERE!!!

I will get pigtures up as soon as I get new batteries for my camera!

Awwwww!!!!
What do they look like???
CONGRATS!

well one is tri colored (black/white/brown)... smooth coated... i dont know what breed that it... on has like a brown dalmation typ coat and one is kinda like her mommy... i dont know where the black came from on the tri colored one cause mom is brown and white and dad is solid cinnimon...

OOOOO i cant wait to get pics up!!!

Tee hee im soo excited....

o when can i start to play with the babies?

tee hee they have big heads!

With in an hour. Boy was I right. Congrats. They sound cute.

within an hour? ive held each one so far... just too look at them... the one that is like a dark brown dalmation type has a pointy nose and its too cute!

Hvae you looked in the lethal pigs discussion on the kitchen forum? The dalmation patterned coat sort of sounds like a lethal, but I could be wrong... Not too sure baout them. I'm so happy for you though! ^__^

yeah ive read about the lethals... i dont think it is though... but i dont know for sure... cause i dont think its a complete dalmation... she/he has dark brown patches on it too... they all seem to be really quite healthy and happy though... and they are already eating the alfalfa... but ill try to take really good pics of all the babies so you guys/gals can put in your 2 cents as well (which is always GREATLY appreciated)

here are some pics... ill put more on my website later... the last little guy has 3 white paws and one brown one... tee hee

Congrats on your new babies. They are soo pretty. I can't wait to see mine.. ahhh I want to hold one..lol

They are sooooooo cute. The first one looks just like its mum. If its a girl name her Muffy.

OMG, they are soo adorable. I have a fetish with baby guinea pigs. lol

Awwwww!!! Give them all a cuddle. And an extra big one for mom!

Is it normal for mom not being to fond of me anymore?

You don't need to worry about lethals, as none of them are white. However, they are roans, so you must be very careful at sexing and separating at 3 weeks.

Yes, your sow is being protective of her pups, and won't want to leave them as much.

AWWWW!!!! They are SOOO CUTE!!! And they're so tiny!!!!

If they aren't the cutest little things!! SO SMALL! I want babies!! My husband would kill me, though. He draws the line at the two guys I have.

:(

Hey muffin, congrats! They are so cute! I have a few questions for you, as my girl is almost surely pregnant and I would like to know what I should watch for. Did you notice any specific signs right before she had babies? I have all girls and the last one I adopted has got the bulging sides and pear shape. I can also feel, what I think is, kicking. I just want to know what I should look for when she is getting close. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm... Advice... All I really noticed is that for the last few days she seemed to stick to her litter box... she would sleep in it and eveything... that's where I could tell she had them... it was still kinda messy in there... but as for what she was like right before she had them I couldn't say really as she had them while I wasen't home (go figure). O! and she ate tons! What i thought was lots before... she eats even more now... but i'm pretty sure that will slow down once she gets all her nutirents back that she lost from having the babies... other than that I cant say much else... I relied soley on these fine folks here :)

The pups in their mums will be very still and when that happens they are ususally born from 1 hour to 2 days. Also yu can hear teeth chattering in the mum, that means they are going to be born from 1 to 3 weeks. Also the mum gets very uncomfortable and consently moves around trying to find a sleeping spot. If you see her in the same spot all the time that means that she probably will have her pups in that spot. Good luck with your new pups too.
