Pellets Are young pellets fine for adult piggies?

Hi everyone, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this— I’m new to the site. I accidentally bought a 25-lb bag of oxbow young pellets instead of adult, and it’s unreturnable. I’m worried about the alfalfa in it, but I can’t get another bag for a couple weeks so I could really use some advice!

A couple of weeks of alfalfa pellets probably won't hurt adult pig, but do ration them -- no more than a tablespoon or so per pig per day. And it won't hurt them to do completely without pellets for a couple of weeks.

If there's a rescue or shelter any where around you, they'd probably appreciate the donation of the rest of the bag.
