Treats Are yellow peas safe

Okay so we are making treats for our piggies and we are making pea flakes. We don't have regular peas and can't buy peas right now which is why we used yellow peas (aka dried pies no not flakes I mean just regular peas that were dried and not squished) I'm wondering if they are OK for piggies to eat as a rare treat, Google was no help since it talked about pea flakes and that is not what I mean

If they aren't safe we can always eat them ourselves just adding salt and spice but still it would suck if the work went to sorta waste
