Treats are kaytee healthy bits ok for guinea pigs?

Well i just got hay and it came with smaple treats. but the thing is. it has seeds and stuff in it...so im not sure if it would be ok for a once and while thing for them

Guinea Pigs don't need any store bought treats at all, at any time. They will find a stalk of Cilantro more enticing and yummy.

I give them a salad every day at 5 pm..i was just wondering if they are ok..

seeds generally aren't good for guinea pigs, you'd probably be better off not giving those treats to them!

Plain fruit is the best occasional treat. Once a week or so, give them a slice of a sweet apple or a thin coin of banana. There's nothing you'll find in pre-made "treats" that's any better or more pleasant for them.

A "coin of banana" made me laugh..... I've never heard that term used before but, I have to admit, a thin slice of banana could look like a gold coin.
