I put Amy back in her cage after floor time, scrubbed her plastic tunnel since she's decided it's an awesome place to pee and poop (and still sit in, ugh), returned to her playpen to clean it out, and here's what I found in her fleece forest:

Stitch apparently likes hiding in fleece strips as much as the piggies do. He's got kitty condos, cat perches, and cat baskets upstairs and down, but he still had to check out Amy's spot. Silly cat.

Let's be honest with ourselves, if we humans could fit in one we'd do it too.

Or maybe that's just me. :expressio

Your kitty is quite beautiful!

Thanks! He's a shelter rescue we've had for ages now. His name is Stitch because his cage said he was unadoptable, just like in the movie. Fortuntely, it's only because he was being treated for worms, so they let us take him when we agreed to keep up the treatment. He's a caring nurturer who has been a good "mom" to two rescued kittens over the years.

Tooo cute hope the piggies werent in there.

HAHA! Stitch is adorable!

@MissJean, yesterday I took apart our fleece forests to clean them and wash the strips. When I was putting them back together I was wondering why they are so appealing to piggies. So natrually, I balanced one on my head and sat like that for a few minutes. It was acutally quite nice, I now see why pigs love them so much! Thankfully I was home alone, so no one saw me but the pets!

@ellisa.you put me in stitches with that little story. But I have figured it out I really have.I mean is warm and soft and nice on the skin.Belive me me and my Husband fight for out fleece blanket at night. So i know where those piggies are coming from.I am the queen of the fleece blanket hog!lol

I wonder if that is why my cat likes getting in my pigs cage? Her name is Houdini. And she fits her name I enclosed Wilber's C&C cage .. and let me tell you for the life of me I have no clue how she got in it . but there she was sitting in a corner while Wilber growled at her from his cuddle cup.Witch was strange he never growls. So now i keep her out of the piggy room.Doors shut hopefully that will take care of that.

Nope, that was Amy's playpen and she was safely back in her cage when Stitch took it over. I have three other cats, and two of them have major predator instinct, so we take lots of piggy protection precautions.

@(broken link removed) Too funny! I'll have to try it, but my husband will probably have me committed if he catches me. I can see it now on A&E: "My Strange Obsession: Woman thinks she's a guinea pig."
