Is anyone else super super stoked for the next Dr. Who episode? Thoughts on the Bells of Saint John?

Also - Clara theories? Anyone have any thoughts on who on earth this girl is. I've read some great ones about her being the grown up of the girl in the library from Silence in the Library. Makes a lot of sense because that girl's tagline was "Aren't I a clever girl" and Clara always calls the Doctor a clever man/boy.

Indulge my obsession with meeeeee. Haha.

I heard that theory about Clara somewhere else on the internet, but it's been a while since I've watched the library episode, so I don't remember. I might go back to it sometime before the new episode to see what everyone's talking about.

Wooo!! I've been watching since Nine and nobody but my good friend understands my joy

It's so hard to figure her out (or try to) because she's a Moffat character....and it's Stephen Moffat. I'm expecting to have my heart ripped out and hucked aside by him soon. She is super interesting though, I'm excited to see her character develop - we've already seen where she got the intelligence to hack the Dalek's and erase their memory of the Doctor!

I'm Here! We loooove Dr Who! I was rather unimpressed with the first episode of this season though Can't wait for this next one the previews looked really good, much more exciting than last week. I really don't know what to think of Clara....we'll see

I also have no irl friends who even know what the show is....it's so depressing. Good to know that I can come here for pigs and my dr who obsession.

Oh and two of my pigs are named for Dr Who characters!

Were you a big fan of the Ponds? I think I really liked the Bells of Saint John just because Moffat's writing is so understated. He almost never has huge scary bad guys but he always leaves you sitting at the end of an episode going: 0__o.

I was completely going to name my GPs after DW if I had ended up getting boarly boars. I'm still holding out though!

I was just so happy to get this season back after the Christmas special! And the Great Intelligence! :0 I'm excited for it!

I love watching Dr who but I'm not a mega fan of the new doctor; my fav doctor was david tennant.

The newest pigs were named by their rescuer (as the old owners did not allow us to take their pigs, so someone offered to lie to get them for us...her idea!) Rory for the boy and Martha for the girl...I don't even know if she is a dr. who fan!

[MENTION=23045]RodentCuddles[/MENTION] - Tennant was who I started with but during the hiatus I watched all of Eccleston's seasons and I have to say he's just awesome.

I just love that each Doctor although the same person is so completely different. Honestly one of the greatest shows ever, I have to say I feel that about the majority of shows that come out of the BBC.

David Tennant is my favorite doctor as well. I'm currently in the process of making an Doctor Who themed guinea pig accessories. I'm excited. Kind of like I did with the Star Trek theme but I'm also adding some hides and fleece strip hides. Super excited! I think I will have it all done next week. =D

I'm a big Dr Who fan and loved the episodes with David Tennant and Rose. I don't think any other companions have matched what they had.

I loved Tennant, and I'm working on the old series. Tom Baker is amazing!
Anyway, I'm just not a big fan of Matt Smith as hthe Doctor, his seasons just don't feel the same.. Like they're too glammed up maybe?
I dunno. And this newest season is just feeling less and less like Doctor Who to me.

If no one else will say it I will, Moffat NEEDS Davies back. Russell gave the show a good balance.

Just watched the newest episode tonight. This season just isn't very good and that's very disappointing. I even kind of liked Matt Smith earlier on but he's just not cutting it anymore

I've watched a couple from the newest season, but it just hasn't grabbed me and made me need to watch new stuff ASAP like it used to.
I've mostly just felt like I need to rewatch the reboot, again, to feel like I'm curbing my Whodiction.

But Tennant and Piper are going to be in the 50th anniversary special, THAT'S what I'm anxiously awaiting.

It's missing something...I'm just not 100% sure what. >.<

My fav three were Tom Baker, David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston...not in order but Tennant would be first..the other two I like equally.

I think it just feels too glammed up and gimmicky now.
Not to mention that it's becoming more and more Americanized.. They even shoot it in NY now. :/

I wasn't too fond of Smith for his first couple of episodes, but he grew into the role pretty well, I think. As for the direction the show is going post-Davies, I agree that it's definitely different with Moffat in control, but I'm not necessarily disappointed. I always loved the intensity and complexity of the episodes that he wrote in the Eccleston/Tennant seasons and the first two of Smith's. I'm going to wait until the season is finished before making a final judgment, but so far I'm okay with where it's going.

I am totally into it. I love Matt Smith, and was very sad about the Ponds. I do like Clara quite a bit, though.

I never really liked Rose. Donna was much better.
