so, i've seen the links and postings about sewing fleece mattresses/liners. right now, i have 2 towels, a uhaul pad and then the fleece on top for my bedding. the fleece comes up and over the coroplast and is held in place with binder clips. it sounds like the pre-sewn mattress pads are way easier to change out, but i don't have a sewing machine at my disposal. any other ideas for how to make a cage liner? i doesn't look like it really can be hand stitched (my cage is 2x4)

You could cut the fabrics to size then just binder clip them together but the binder clips will probably get dirty and gross. Do you have a friend or relative that can lend you a sewing machine. It shouldn't take more than an hour to make a liner, if you know how to work a sewing machine.
