General Any of you have pet rat's and ginnie?

My son's cody's pet rat died yesterday.. we had 4 of them but know we are down to one lonly rattie.. rat's do much better in pairs of two.. or more. any way my question is do any of you have both rat's and ginnie's and if you do. Have you put them together to play.. is this possible.. It was just a thought since skittles is a lonly ginnie by him self and pokie is a lonly rattie...

at this point we don't wan't to buy pokie a new friend. are hart's are just in so much pain.. it hurts to lose a loved one.

aw thank's.. I relly did not think it was good idea to let them have time together.. just wanted to know if any of you have done this... she was 4 year's old and have had a awsome loving life.. her sisters all died of tumors, she just died of old age. Maybe A new play mate will be in the future. since pokey was a new friend to the one that just past. But right know with us building a new house.. we just don't have the time to retrain a new baby. on top of getting skittles use to us.

Me either :sad: I feel bad about it, and I know how cool their tails are (cooling/balance etc)...I wish I could see passed the tails because everyone I know with rats talk about how smart and great they are.

you know what I was the same way.. when my son cody kept at me for 3 year every day.. beging me for one.. I caved on christmas and fell in love the sec I held them.. They don't run away from you. They want to be with you at all time. one morning cody had them out when he was eating his toast. I told him to stop and look at his toast and one was hanging off the side of it. lol she was trying to steal it. here is a pix of the one we just lost.
