alternative to coroplast
I came up with a great idea that is both fun and just as cheap as buying coroplast for a cage bottom. I bought a plastic childrens wading pool. Like five feet wide and a foot tall. (you need a round table for it to sit on). Then I made a row of eight cubes by two cubes connected with cable ties . This fits around the inside of the cage. The top row of cubes I fold over like a steamer basket is folded. I made a couple supports to hold the middle up. It's awesome and the pigs love it. I use sand pails for hiding places and decorated the outside with the shovels. To clean, the top lifts off in one easy piece and then just scoop the dirty stuff out with an old cool whip dish. It's easy to clean and really cute.
