Allergies to foods I feed my pigs

I think I've started developing allergies to bananas... Which I love and also my pigs love. I'll always get a banana and break off pieces for them and eat the other half. The last few months of doing this the bananas have burnt my mouth really bad, and right now it is kinda blistery and painful.... I know I'm allergic to lemons already and a lot of like other non food things and medicines.

There is also a possibility of me being allergic to avocados, but I don't care enough about them to try it often... Only on burritos from Taco Bell.

Is anyone else allergic to bananas? Ad if so how did you start noticing it?

Bananas aren't particularly good for pigs, anyway. You could all quit eating them.

I only give them a tiny piece as a treat now and then I don't like giving them too much sugary fruits and stuff

I really hope I can eat them still because I absolutely love bananas and other fruits,.. I could live off of it if it was possible

ooo, so sorry that you have this alergic reaction right now. Hope it goes away soon. I am alergic to my pigs bedding, hay and fur but i love my piggy

Skin allergy do you mean? If it's on your hands, you could wear rubber/vinyl gloves to eat it and feed it.

Banana can cause constipation, so be aware of that, and try not to feed it more than weekly.

I only give them to them whenever I eat a banana... So not often... And it's like just my mouth right now

Hm, it's odd to have a skin reaction to food! The only thing I could really think of would be to apply an antihistamine cream around the area sparingly so as you don't get it in your mouth.

It's like the roof of my mouth and tongue and stuff tht it blistered..,, with lemons tho I can't eat or touch them because I break out n can't breathhe

Damn, I really can't think of anything then other than an actual antihistamine tablet. Definitely ignore the lemons obviously, and if I where you bananas too because allergies can progress and get worse the more frequently you're exposed to the reaction.

I had to take two Benadryl last night. I keep havin reactions to a lot of stuff and last night I couldn't breathe....

It's very dangerous! Please take care of yourself!

I keep getting reactions out of nowhere.,, I just had another a few minutes ago.,. Does salsa you get in stores have lemons in it... Ik it says citric acid... And this salsa and coke zero are the only things I've ate different lately

And I know how dangerous it is... I'm allergic to more medicines than I can take,,, I've almost died so many times. In third grade I had a substitute teacher and she wouldn't let me go to the nurse when I started feeling bad and by the time my mom picke me up from school I was covered in hives and my kidneys were shutting down and I was swelled up... My mom gave the school hell and their excuse was I got hot on the bus ride home... My mom said dumasses she doesn't ride the bus

I gotta find a way to the doctor.. I'm gonna try to tomorrow... It's really bothering me now... It's like the third reaction I've had this week and last week I had two...

I don't know if salsa has lemons in it. I agree with Inle_Rabbit that you should talk with your allergist. They can do testing and figure out exactly what you are allergic to.

I was tested a cpl years ago and I had a 4 page list of allergens to different plants and stuff and medicines and I'm allergic to chocolate and beef.,. But it doesn't bother me unless I eat a lot and then I just get an upset stomache or my heart races,.. Like a little bit now and then won't bother me but if I eat a lot of chocolate or drink a glass of chocolate milk or something it does... But lemons break me out if I touch them or clean w lemon products, an if I eat it I can't breathe and I get really shaky and like dizzy

Do you have a reaction to other citrus fruits, like limes or oranges? I went to school with a kid who was allergic to citrus; I remember he really had to watch out for it, although I don't believe I saw him come into contact with any at school. I agree a trip to a doctor is in order though, just to make sure everything is alright.

No, my cousin made food with limes last week when I stayed with her and I tested to make sure I wasn't... And I eat oranges and drink orange juice all the time.,, and pineapples n strawberries are fine too,,, I used to eat lemon n bananas like crazy when I was younger and they started bothering me this past year(lemons) and bananas the last 2-3 months... I didn't think of it at first.. Figured my potassium was low... But now I have blisters in my mouth from half a banana
