I use alfalfa pellets (for horses) as bedding for my mice and it controls the odor wonderfully. Can I do the same for the guinea pigs or would they just end up eating it?

I would think they would eat it.

They would just eat it. Too much alfalfa pellets are bad for guinea pigs over 6 months also, they can lead to bladder stones. They would treat the bedding as just one huge pellets bowl. lol

Oh boo. Thanks guys :)
