So my little Cosmo is about 2 months old and Im wondering at what age should I start introducing him to timothy hay and then completely start with the alfalfa. Iv ready many different opinions on this subject. some say never feed alfalfa while others say they can eat it all their lives. so please help!!

He needs grass hay available at all times. Timothy is grass hay. Alfalfa is higher in calcium and is a legume hay, but it can still be given, certainly until he is 6-8 months. There is no harm in feeding it beyond that in treat quantities as long as he also always has grass hay available.

I would give him alfalfa until he is about 6 months. Then introduce Timothy hay. Alfalfa is for 6 months and under and Pregnant pigs, Timothy is for older adult pig.

No, timothy or other grass hay should be given at all life stages.

I also read somewhere that I can give him timothy hay and then alfalfa hay cubes.. Are those ok. I can always buy both types of hay and supply both of them to his cage if that is what is suggested.

Cubes are fine but they need to have long strand grass hay at all times.
