Aggression Aggressive guinea pigs

Hey guys, my two little baby girls(even though they're almost 2 months) have been showing a lot of agression towards eachother. The mother also lives with them but she really wants nothing to do with them as she minds her own business. Now somtimes they are okay with eachother, but other times they constantly show teeth, make a weird sound and just stare at eachother. Then the next day they'll be find. Then in a week they'll do the same thing. The only time that I saw them fight was just once and they quit it after a couple seconds. I'm just a little lost on their behavior. What could be the cause ? The cage has more than enough room, more than enough shelters, food,water and hay.

At two months and with females, that's nothing to worry about it. They old enough to begin coming into heat, which will happen every couple of weeks for a day or so, and that may be what you are seeing. My two are a little "hormonal" at those times, and there'll be a significant increase in the drama in the cage for a while, then will calm down.

There's no need to separate them unless one of them is actively being bitten and blood is drawn, or one is harassed to the point that she can't eat or drink. And I've never heard of that happening with two babies.

Thank you ! That is what I thought, but obviously didn't know for sure. Me and my sister will keep watching out for that behavior to make sure it is infact just going into heat. That makes sense because it's every couple of weeks for a day or two.
