I just weighed my piggers with my fancy-schmancy new kitchen scale...I know, I know, almost two months and I just got the scale today. I'm a horrible mother x_X
At any rate, when I adopted, I was told that they were both almost 8 months old and from the same litter. This was almost two months ago. While I don't doubt they are brothers and are the same age, what I am unsure of is whether or not to doubt their age itself--My scale just "informed" me that Miko weighs 2 lbs 8oz and Taiko weighs a whopping 2 lbs 12 oz. Is this a "normal" weight for two 10 month old piggers, and if not, how old do you think they really are? I had no reason to doubt the "parents" (they were re-homed from an unwanted pregnancy), but do you think that they may have stretched the truth to make it more likely that someone would adopt?
I'm going to the vet next tuesday for a routine check up and I'll ask him to re-weigh, but it doesn't really seem like the scale is lying. Any imput would be great, I'm so confused!
