After persuading my parents for many months, they have finally decided to let me adopt 3 more pigs!!!!
I am beyond excited. I have my heart set on a group of three females, a mother and 2 daughters, named ariel, auroura, and tinkerbell!!! HOW CUTE!
I am just waiting for confirmation from the rescure, HAVE A HEART GUINEA PIG RESCUE in NJ. So, my herd will become 6 females as of the first week in MAY most likely.

I am just SO excited!
I will probably get another piggy cozi, or house, or something for my new three so that when they go in their new cage, they will have something that is theirs.
And, don't worry, i have read up alot on quarintine and all, so my new cavies will be very happy.

I am just so excited!

I got Apollo there! They are really nice!! Congrats!!!

I know, I got my other three girls there as well!

Don';t get them a house. IF you get them a house they will take ages trying to bond with them... get them toys though :)
Hope your new famioly fits in fine

Okay, so you are saying that i shouldn't get them their own house because they will not bond with my old guinea pigs. Okay. what about in quarintine, should i put one of my old guinea pig houses in with them? And what exactly do you mean by TOYS?

Congratulations on getting new piggies. The girls look so adorable.
I really wouldn't worry about keeping them separate from your other pigs - they have been in foster care since September and I'm sure if there was anything wrong with them it has taken care of. Also, since you have adopted from Have a Heart before getting approved shouldn't take long at all.

Deffinatly give them hidey houses. It is their natural deffense to hide.

I agree with Dagwell. Not to be controversial or anything, but piggies need a place to feel secure. They'll still get to know you just fine. I have an old towel draped over the back of my cage and have some hidey houses around and under that. They LOVE having the towel. I also have it secured with binder clips so they can't eat it.
Congrats on getting your new pigs and good luck!
