im thinking about adopting 2 2year old females that already live together in the rescue center. the add says they must go to the same home.
is there anything i should know about the older guinea pig or is care the same.
not planning on breeding them and they will be housed in a seperate cage to my males

Older guinea pig care can be challenging, as they have some unique health problems that tend to come with age; however, 2 isn't even approaching a senior age for a guinea pig normally, so you shouldn't have to worry about it for quite some time.

Aww. I have three 2 (or almost 2) year old guinea pigs. They are as sweet as can be and no care is diffrent at 2 years old than the younger adult ones. At 2 they should be in the prime of their lives!
