We went to Cavy Spirit yesterday with the intention of meeting two females they had for adoption to see which ONE would be best with our current sweeties. Well, we ended up being total saps and walked away with BOTH of them! They were both so cute and sweet and lonely, I couldn't leave one of them there to feel rejected. I think I have a giant "S" on my forehead for SUCKER!
Teresa and Leah were very nice, and it was good to see that there was another couple there before us adopting some of the piggies we saw at SF animal control last week that Cavy Spirit had saved from being euthanized. Now we have 5 piggies, NO MORE! It is craziness! I would love to have more and more because they are all so darned cute, but I want to be able to give them all a great deal of attention and I don't think I could do that with more than five....maybe I will change my mind in a few months! So we now have one male (neutered), and four females. Hopefully when he finally gets to be added in with the females he will appreciate his little harem!
I saw a bumper sticker on Ebay that said "One by one, the guinea pigs are stealing my sanity!" Now I truly understand what that means! hehehehe
