We went to Cavy Spirit yesterday with the intention of meeting two females they had for adoption to see which ONE would be best with our current sweeties. Well, we ended up being total saps and walked away with BOTH of them! They were both so cute and sweet and lonely, I couldn't leave one of them there to feel rejected. I think I have a giant "S" on my forehead for SUCKER!

Teresa and Leah were very nice, and it was good to see that there was another couple there before us adopting some of the piggies we saw at SF animal control last week that Cavy Spirit had saved from being euthanized. Now we have 5 piggies, NO MORE! It is craziness! I would love to have more and more because they are all so darned cute, but I want to be able to give them all a great deal of attention and I don't think I could do that with more than five....maybe I will change my mind in a few months! :) So we now have one male (neutered), and four females. Hopefully when he finally gets to be added in with the females he will appreciate his little harem!

I saw a bumper sticker on Ebay that said "One by one, the guinea pigs are stealing my sanity!" Now I truly understand what that means! hehehehe

That is great. They are probably friends now they can stay together. You will have to post pictures of the two new family members.

Hi Skyenoir,

Thanks so much for adopting the second piggie, too. It's really great to know she's landed in such a wonderful home. You guys were terrific! I wish all piggie people were like you.

Congratulations on adopting 2 more girls! Remember to post pics at some stage!!

Congrats. I can't wait to see the pics.

There is a lot of that going around lately.

Congrats on your new pigs.

Congrats on your new additions. Yes, definitely get some pics to us!

What are their names?

I as well have four females and a neutered male. They are such fun!

The boy is Spike, and the girls are Herbie, Killer Whale, Blanche, and Pink. The names Herbie (like Herbie the Love Bug), Killer Whale and Pink are courtesy of my son. :) Blanche and Pink are the ones we adopted from CS, Pink's name was Lydia, but we changed it. My son liked the name Blanche and wanted to keep it. You can see a pic of Pink (Lydia) on the Cavy Spirit website under adoptables if you would like.

Slap, is it a nice mix of piggies that you have? Does it work well?

The mixture of pigs is awesome. They cage is always bustling with pig buisiness. They are so much fun and they get along wonderfuly.

Yay Sky. Two more Cavy Spirit piggies with homes and a slave with two more beautiful piggers!
