It looks like I may have to build a side by side cages. I currently have a 2x4 with 2x1 loft and would like to add a 2x3 cage in an L shape. Does anyone have photos and/or ideas they can share?

Sorry to hear it's come to this. Molly is a right little diva, isn't she?

Have you looked at the pictures in the Photos link above?

I looked at some of the pictures but the space I have available is a room the size of 4.5 x 4.5 grids with walls and a glass door. The door opens inward and I do close it to keep my big dog away from the pigs when we are not home. This means that I can only add a 2x2 section in an L shape. I don't really want a second level as it is hard to clean under it. What other options do I have?

Without reading back, how many pigs do you have? And how many will be in each cage? I can help draw up a plan.

That would be great if you can draw up a plan lissie! I have 2 females (one 2 year old and one 5 week old) who need to live in seperate cages due to Molly being a total diva. Let me know if you need exact dimensions or any other information.

Would a simple 3x4 split in half work for you? They'll each have 2x3 cage. If not, let me know so I'll draw something else.

That was my first thought, but the door to the room opens inward and I need to be able to shut it. Two grids is the widest I can go, unless I leave the door open permanently. I'm a bit worried about my dog as she is a bit unpredictable.

Is the door in the center, left, right?

The door is to the left (hinge is right against the left wall). How do I attach a screenshot of a diagram to show you?

How about these? You can add grids underneath for a stand.

Ooooh, both of those look really good! I didn't think of overlapping the grids. I'm going to have a look at the room and see which one would work best. I will pm you later.
