about the babies

I was wondering for how long will they stay so small and return to my regular cage arrangement?
I had two males, we kept them with their mother for about 3 weeks with the cage modifications and then in their own cage until 7/8 weeks old. But this really depends on the babies size, obviously a larger baby pig will need less time with modifications. We were really careful with the two boys and probably left the modifications in place too long, but we wanted to be absolutly sure they were safe.
We recommend babyproofing the cage until they are at least 6 months old. Longer if they are smaller.
