a sad announcement...
today is a sad day for me, i had took my two new piggies for their check-up before i introduce them to the other two i have. :| somebody in my home left the window open in my room:| , and a stray cat crawled in and attacked my girls . they fought the cat back, but my oldest lost the battle . by the time someone heard the noise coming from my room. the cat dove out the window, leaving "big momma" (my oldest piggie) dying from blood lost, and her daughter in the corner with a gash on her side. my brother rushed them both to my vet, i was shocked when i heard the comotion in the waiting room, he told me what had happened. the mom died on the way to the hospital and bonnie (the daughter) died a couple of hours later, she had lost too much blood. i am so mad, i had told everyone at my house not to open my window, since there's alot of strays where we live (alot of them pregnant and very hungry) and since i live on the first floor, its easy for them to hop on in. my vet is making arrangements to have them both cremated and i am going to have part of their ashes put into a tiny urn chain and the rest in a regular urn so they'll always be with me, waiting for me at the end of the rainbow bridge.
