General A Present to my Piggy!

Hi everyone! I got my piggy a piggybedspread for christmas, and I think I may have gotten one that's too big, but I'll adjust it later. I've heard a lot about how hay tends to stick to fleece, so I sectioned off a 1x2 grid area on the end of his cage to use carefresh in, and I put his hay and pellets in there. He looks happier, since he can run laps much faster. He's so cute:heart:. I posted a vide of his first time in the remodeled cage:

PS: I was thinking of using a water bottle instead of a water bowl. What kind of bottle leaks the least? How do you teach the piggy how to use it?

Your guinea pig looks exactly like my first guinea pig I ever owned! Your cage looks great

I think that a cheapo leaky one might be the way to do it at first, with his current water bowl underneath to catch the drips. Then, once he gets the hang of it, you can take the bowl away and get a less leaky bottle. I think that a lot of people like the glass ones from Drs Foster and Smith (Waterers for Ferrets, Rabbits & Small Pets: Super Pet Chew Proof Glass Water Bottles the duck is adorable) and say that they aren't really leaky unless you get a defective one.
