A new addition to the family!!!

I had my eyes on a 2 1/2 year old named Mango but went with a 5 month old baby instead! Marci, the coordinator of Have-A-Heart Guinea Pig Rescue, was so patient with me that she let me stay 2 hours at her place to see the piggies interact!

Fudgy just loves the baby and always stays by her side. The baby, on the other hand, just follows Fudgy wherever she goes! I don't remember when was the last time Fudgy popcorned so much... :tearsofjo

Oh my goodness! The baby is TOO cute! You made an excellent choice for Fudgy's little friend, but I'm guessing with as long as you were there, that they chose each other.

Do you happen to know where baby came from before Have-A-Heart? Eddie was going to be sent to a guinea pig rescue a few days after I adopted him. I got him from the Somerset Regional Animal shelter. His daughter and sister(?) were with him at the rescue I got him from. That would be so cool if you adopted Eddie's relative.

Fudgy (white & tan abby)

Fudgy looks like a Peruvian from the photo. Hair is too long on the sides to be an Aby. Could be an Abyruvian if there are whorls in the hair.

fourbwabbys, I emailed Marci and she told me the baby didn't come from Somerset though. She actually was introduced to Marci with 2 other babies (a boy and a girl). It would've been really nice if Eddie and the baby were relatives!
