A male bonded pair, Charlotte NC

Hi, we're looking to adopt/rescue a bonded male pair in or around Charlotte, NC. We're putting together a 2X4 C&C cage (we have the cubes, coroplast, fleece, loving the design process!) and gathering the rest of the accessories (bowls, hideys, etc) in preparation to finding the pair to bring home. We're family of 3 (mom, dad, 8 y.o son) and the piggies will be a family pet. Thanks. We're loving this forum!

Hello! I'm up near High Point, and have two baby males you may be interested in adopting. I recently adopted their (at the time, pregnant) mother from craigslist.
It would be a relief to be able to re home them to someone here. Please let me know if you'd like to know more about them!

Thanks, I"ll let y'all know. In between posting that message and having it approved, I found someone here Charlotte I'm working with. If for some reason it doesn't work out, I'll let you know. Her's had babies too, and we're waiting for 'em to grow up and fly the coop, so to speak.

Odd, isn't it? Same here in the Northeast. But other areas seem to have a lack of adoptables and people wait and wait to find one. I wish there was some easy way to get pigs transported to other areas for adoption! I keep saying to NYC folks, come on up to Vermont for a nice weekend and check out our rescue ! www.turtlehillfarm.net Many other pigs have been taken in by this rescue that are not on petfinder yet !

Yes - I have found homes for 4 adults so far. I have 2 more families ready to adopt 4 more, and I have a girl expecting more babies any day now. So far I have been able to find personal friends ready to adopt, and I have been able to inspire everyone with C&C cages, a good veggie menu and quality pellets! If you know anyone who is looking send them my way. (I have also banded myself from Craig's list)
