I was thinking it might be a good idea to give the option to delete a thread that you have started. I mention this because I started a thread and then found one a lot like it in another section. Although I wouldn't mind getting responces to the one I started, it might be a better idea just to add to the one that already exsists.
Heehee, I had a "oh no, I feel silly now!" moment.

We don't give the option to delete threads you start because we would lose a lot of good info and insight into the minds of breeders and neglecters that way.

Not to mention if every member that gets disgruntled with the forum could delete all the posts they started or posted then the forum would be only half complete and ragged.

The majority of backyard kiddie breeders that come here and make a fool of themselves would be the ones that would be first to want to delete their threads. It makes a fascinating read to go back and see how ridiculous some of their posts are - I'm sure if the option to delete was there we would miss most of that.

What if we had the option to delete it within the hour? Or maybe 30 minutes or something. That way, most likely not many good posts will have appeared yet and the creater can still have that "Doh! I goof'd up!" moment.

Members will not be given any options to delete their posts. If you really mess up a post, just use the report post feature and let us mods know and we will delete it.

Also if it's just messed up, you have 10 minutes from the time you submit it to go in and edit it to fix it.
