I saw the girl today that I may be adopting her sister's guinea pig while I was picking up some toys and chew treats for my girls. She asked me if I wanted to take in Callie. She feels bad because she talked her twin into taking Callie and now the twin isn't too interested in her. :weepy: I told her it would be no problem (before talking to the husband...oops!):innocent: Anyways, her twin has bonded w/ a red dragon. :yuck: Eeew! She's going to talk to her about when we can meet up. She's going to let me borrow their cage until the quarantine period is over. I guess Callie will be rooming in mine & my husband's room. (I hope!) So I went out and bought more cubes. The kids and I are going to extend our cage to definitely a 2x5 or possibly a 2x6 & I may add a third level for their lounge area. I bought a cozy cuddle (?) today as well as a basket w/ a material lining which I'm going to adapt and add some bedding or scrap pieces of fleece I have. If anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate it. I can't wait. I'm sure Callie isn't getting the attention she needs.

You will need at least a 2x6 for four sows. I wouldn't put them in anything smaller. If you want to extend a different way, you could do a 3x4 which is the same as a 2x6.
