Good evening all!

I currently have a herd of 4 piggies (3 females and 1 neutered male). I rescued 2 females about a month ago and am thinking about rescuing 2 more females here soon.

The reason I bring that up is that I am turning a spare bedroom into a pet room and want to build a 3x8 C&C Cage along the back wall of the room. If introductions go well after the cage is finished then my herd will be 6.

I'm wondering though, if I take in these other 2 girls would a 3x8 be large enough for 8 piggies (assuming introductions go smoothly and all 7 girls and my neutered boy can live together)?

Thanks in advance [emoji7]

A 3x8 would be the recommended size cage for eight pigs, although another run of grids along the length or width would be better. More room is always better. It takes up quite a big of room for furniture that many pigs, and the extra space gives them room to run.
