I currently have 2 male guinea piggies that i have had for 2 months that I rescued from the local SPCA where I work. They were not sexed properly and were placed in a cage with their sister(?) who has just given birth to 4 healthy lil piglets at my friends house (who took her in)
Well one of the babies is super cute, and Im going to take him when hes of age aslong as he is a male.
My only question is that i think i read that you shouldn't keep more then 2 males together somewhere.
The cage calculator states that 3 pigs can stay in a 5x2, and my cages is a 5x2 so there is enough room, i just don't want them beating up the baby, or there being constant battles, my males a in adolecence now I belive, tho I don't know how old they are.does anyone know if a young pig can be sucessfully introduced in with 2 other males?

It could work 2 would have to be submissive. It does kinda all depend on their personalities.

Have some introduction first and see how it goes. Then maybe you can separate them in divided cage, let them meet each other everyday.

When I first introduce my 3rd sow to the 2 older sows, they seems like bully her. So I put her separate in the same cage. After few days, I let them stay together in same cage, they get along well.

thanks i'll try that! cuz my 2 pigs still are duking it out, my PEW Onion will chase Curry, then curry will turn around and threaten him, hopefully a wee baby wouldn't be seen as a threat to eaither of them
