2x4 cage for 3 boars what to do!

Ok as some of you know I have a 2x7 cc cage for three of my boars. But I recently got 3 more boars from some one who didn't want them any more. But now I am stuck because, as some of you know my piggs live out in a shed. And the shed is becoming slightly crowed. Right now in the shed there is the 2x7 cc cage which is elevated on a cube stand, and underneath the cube stand is a 2x3 cc cage. And now there is also a 2x4 cc cage in the shed. My original plan (which was in action) was to put one of the new boars in the 2x3 cc cage for a while but give him floor time everyday with his friends, and then get him a mate (most likely in January). And have the other two boars in the 2x4. But then as some of you know that my mother who usually could care less about the piggs decided to stick her nose where, in my personal opinion it doesn't belong (how ironic). And she started yelling at me for keeping the one piggy alone. I said that after Christmas was over I was going to get him a cage mate, and that just made her even madder. And she just kept going out in my shed and yelling at me for keeping him alone (when he was getting at least 6 hours of floor time a day with his two friends). So then one day she moved him in the 2x4 with the other two piggs, while I was gone. And told me if I moved him out of the 2x4, that I would be in big trouble.
So as I said before now I am stuck. I know I need to make the cage bigger but how? I need some ideas for different ways to expand the 2x4 but save space. I though about making a 3x4 but then I wouldn't have a lot of room to stand in the shed, and it would be awfully hard to spot clean. Which is something I always do.
Any ideas?

You could build up. Possibly a 2x4 with a 2x3 second floor?

I've seen some really neat ideas in the gallery. Some people by old storage and book shelves and make ramps to each level. This is an easy way to build up, if you can find a cheap and stable one which is large enough. I do suggest building up though.

Well because second levels just take away from the actual space, and make it hard to clean. I have just decided to keep it a 2x4 for now. Hopefully I will either be able to expand or get another piggy. So then 2 piggies will be in the 2x4 and two piggies in the 2x3.

If I were you, at least for the time being I would try to make a 2nd level on that 2x4 until you get another boar friend for your one boar. It might take away a bit of space on the main level but it will open up more space on top. I don't have boars myself but I know boars need alot more room that sows do.

I have 2 sows in a 2x4 and one in a quarantine cage right now. I will be expanding the 2x4 in January when I can get more cubes.

A second level does not cut down on floor space that much. I have the ramp against the side of the cage, so they still have tons of space. They can still run and sit under the ramp

Well my parents are getting a 4x8 sheet of coro after Christmas and New Years day (basically after the holidays) for a project they are doing. And they said that I could have the extra coroplast. So I will expand the cage to a 2x5 after that. Hopefully.
Not sure if I have enough cubes because I have to build a base to hold the extra 1x2 area up.. I have enough for an upper level. But though about it some more and decided I am not going to add one. Because the last time I had a 1x2 upper level (in another cage) the piggs never even used it.

How do I expand the cage? I really hate having to tear down the coroplast walls where the connect to make the corners but oh well.

I have a different idea let me see if I can do a diaphram of it.

I know the diaphram is kinda un even and all. But basically it is a 2x4 with an extra 1x2 popping out. That way this solves my problem with cutting the coroplast corners and taking them apart etc.

Ok I expanded my cage! But I had to use cardboard. It is so awesome because now they actually have a whole 2x4 cage to run in, because I moved their food dishes and water bottles in the new 1x2 extra area.
