Ok as some of you know I have a 2x7 cc cage for three of my boars. But I recently got 3 more boars from some one who didn't want them any more. But now I am stuck because, as some of you know my piggs live out in a shed. And the shed is becoming slightly crowed. Right now in the shed there is the 2x7 cc cage which is elevated on a cube stand, and underneath the cube stand is a 2x3 cc cage. And now there is also a 2x4 cc cage in the shed. My original plan (which was in action) was to put one of the new boars in the 2x3 cc cage for a while but give him floor time everyday with his friends, and then get him a mate (most likely in January). And have the other two boars in the 2x4. But then as some of you know that my mother who usually could care less about the piggs decided to stick her nose where, in my personal opinion it doesn't belong (how ironic). And she started yelling at me for keeping the one piggy alone. I said that after Christmas was over I was going to get him a cage mate, and that just made her even madder. And she just kept going out in my shed and yelling at me for keeping him alone (when he was getting at least 6 hours of floor time a day with his two friends). So then one day she moved him in the 2x4 with the other two piggs, while I was gone. And told me if I moved him out of the 2x4, that I would be in big trouble.
So as I said before now I am stuck. I know I need to make the cage bigger but how? I need some ideas for different ways to expand the 2x4 but save space. I though about making a 3x4 but then I wouldn't have a lot of room to stand in the shed, and it would be awfully hard to spot clean. Which is something I always do.
Any ideas?
