We just adopted 2 new girls - they are so adorable. A tad bit shy (i.e. they haven't moved much in the last 5 hours), but I know they will adjust to their new surroundings. Yippee!!

Congratulations on your new adopted girls. We want descriptions and pictures please.

Yes, and congrats!

Yes, pictures please!!??

I don't really have pictures of them yet as they've only stuck their noses out of their hidey-house (yes, I have a picture of their noses). I do have a top-view picture of them scared stiff (this isn't happening... this isn't happening....) in the box we brought them home in.

They've got to be sisters - markings are very similar. The little one reminds me of 2face from Batman (he-heh). She looks like an entirely different pig on each side - white/black/copper. The bigger one has longer, silkier fur, and a copper face (both sides).

Now that it's dark, they've ventured out of their house and are looking around their cage. I'm not going to startle them with a picture, though

(I attached the photos, but they're not showing up for some reason - can someone tell me how to do it?)

They did show up! They are so cute!!!

Congrats! I loved it when I had just brought my guineas home, a whole year and a half ago!

congrads. Hope you get the same enjoyment as me. Just dont rush it.

Very cute piggies! Congrats and good luck with them.

ooooooooooooo so cute! Love them. Good Luck...I hope they come out of hiding soon.

You piggies are very cute.

question about having 2 cavies

Thanks, everyone, for the compliments. :) Reading them gave me a warm fuzzies.

I'm learning a bit more about their personalities. The smaller one is more dominant. The larger one (copper face - I think I'm going to call her Penny) will be drinking and the small one will nose the other's face right out of the way. The smaller one also likes to sit in the food so the other one can't get at it. I'm sensing that I need to have 2 bottles and 2 food dishes... is that the right thing to do to prevent problems?

Also, what size of pigloo is best for 2 piggies? I'm thinking of getting the medium sized pigloo... do I need to get the large one?

Thanks in advance for your help

Aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww they are so cute Love the little pink noses peaking out. Im on my way over to give them some piggie kissies. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

I would have 2 pigloos. They each should have their own safe haven.
