Impaction Is Walnut Litter Safe or is it too risky?

I wouldn't use it. Can you post a photo of your cage so we can see how big it is? Guinea pigs can't be litter trained. Sometimes they'll find a spot that they prefer to use but since they poop all the time, even when they sleep, there will be dropping in different areas of the cage. Your best...

What type of hay are you feeding them? It looks live hives to me.

    Congested Help! Odd breathing noises

Sneezing can also be a sign of an upper respiratory infection. The sneeze might loosen some of the congestion but won't cure a URI.

    Congested Help! Odd breathing noises

Get him to a vet. Breathing problems can quickly escalate into pneumonia which can be fatal. There's nothing you can do to treat a URI. An exotic vet will determine how serious it is and prescribe an antibiotic to treat the infection.

Do you have a loft? Is it possible she fell off or was dropped?

Lump Massive lump! What do I do?!?!

Did you take him to an exotic vet? Did they lance it and clean it out? What did they prescribe?

    Injury Guinea Pig Injury, Help!

Offer her some vegetables to make sure she can eat. If she broke any teeth, she might have a hard time eating. Also make sure she's walking properly and not limping. Look at the wound on her mouth to make sure it stopped bleeding. Keep a close eye on the cut in case it abscesses. If a lump...

    Conditions Leo Sawyer

Finish the antibiotic and if they're still coughing and sneezing, take them back for a recheck. Sometimes it takes more than one round of antibiotics or a different one to fight an infection.

    Sick Nellie's Medical Posts!

Re: Nellie & Ori's Medical Posts! If you haven't done so yet, I'd move them out of the basement. There might be mold that's contributing to her problems. You mentioned the vet originally prescribed a small amount of Baytril. How much? Did you finish the round of antibiotics that was originally...

Eyes/Non-crusty Brown spot in both eyes

Does it look like the edges of the iris are irregular? I can't tell from your photo but if it is, it could be Osseous metaplasia. Is she a senior and is she able to see? Here's a link to guinealynx that shows some eye disorders. https://www.guinealynx.info/records/viewtopic.php?p=163#163

    Feet Nails Falling Out?

Could be a fungal infection which might be contagious so I'd also suggest a vet visit asap, too.

    Sick Nose bleed

I'd be concerned about any discharge from the nose. Bloody discharge would make me worried that it's either an injury or infection so I'd do a vet visit.

    Sneezing Frequent sneezing (after antibiotics)

$75 is very reasonable for xrays.

    Sneezing Frequent sneezing (after antibiotics)

Sometimes they need more than a single round of antibiotics. I'd take her back in to be rechecked since there's mucus which is a sign of a URI. I'd be concerned about the lump, too, and would have an xray done to see what that's all about.

Weight Loss Labored breathing and very skinny

I'd get her to a vet this morning. The clicking sound probably means a URI and possibly pneumonia which won't clear up by itself.

    Tessa's Delivery Ward!

You're going to need a lot of hay for multiple guinea pigs. They should have unlimited hay.... mounds.... at all times. It's their primary food source, keeps their digestive tracts moving and their teeth ground down. I buy 50 lb at a time for my 4 and store it in yard waste bags that I cover...

You're a good pet owner. Some people wouldn't think twice of using the cage.

Impaction Help im a wreck my guinea pig fell in the floor

If you have access to untreated grass, you can cut it and offer it until you get hay. I'd still get him to a vet tomorrow to check him over since he's vocalizing when you feel his legs. Keep us updated on what the vet says tomorrow. Good luck.... Guinea pigs are good at keeping themselves clean...
