I've just read a thread about guinea pigs and swimming. I wouldn't want to do that but when it is hot (weather wise) how would it be for guinea pigs to be in a waterproof area with say 1cm of water.

I would go along with spy9doc. Cheap household items can make ideal toys, not forgetting a cardboard toilet roll holder which can be used both as a play thing and to hide treats and hay. I also have a large(ish) stone in my cage for the piggies to gnaw on.

And a large container to put them in lol:rolleyes:. You'll be surprised how much one piggy can produce in such a short space of time.

This might be a very odd question but here goes. My 2 boars are a bit whiffy and was considering bathing them. This will give them a fresh smell, so my question is, do Guinea Pigs use their sense of smell to identify their cage mate or do they do this by sight? I am worried that by bathing them...

We must have just got lucky. While they were in separate cages next to each other they showed no signs of aggression. There was some jumping and running but that was it. It is certainly worth a try.
