Cage My new cage i built for our piggies

HannibalLecter: I also wanted to note in my last post regarding the lighting is that I appreciate the facts you pointed out about their eyes being so high and the lighting possibly hurting their eyes. This is food for thought. On the other hand, I do believe that tactful location of the...

Cage My new cage i built for our piggies

I have to agree with you, cavyluvver. Since I've put in the LED night lights behind there cage my boys have been very interactive and not always hiding in the darker shadows. They run and pop like crazy. My concern of it keeping them awake through the night was nilched when I snuck in and...

Cage My new cage i built for our piggies

I truly appreciate your creativity with your piggies' home. I would like to know what kind of light you are using. I didn't want to "heat" my boys' home so I have put some LED night light in the sockets near by, but would love to use the ones you have used. I like the way you haven't over...

Size cage plans and opinions from people who have 4x3

I use clips too, but what I find works wonderful for my 4x3 are mini bungee cords. My 4x3 opens on the corner and both sides fold open like accordians. The bungee is connected to both sides, wrapping the corner. If you use one on a "straight" side then a clip must used where the inital opening...

    Cage Combining two C&C cages

I zip tie coro to the grids, then use the clear/ridged plastic found in the cabinet lining section. I hot glue the liner to the coro. The glue dries really fast on it and sticks extremely well. Do not buy the black ridged outdoor material found in the carpet area because the glue doesn't...

    My homemade Cozy Bags

Ash-Ro060708: Thank you very much for the very detailed information and layout of the fleece. I'm on a budget and would like to start making better use of every inch of my fleece. The challenge of self teaching myself to sew has also brought about the challenge of waisting fleece. Your post...

    My homemade Cozy Bags

Where did you find a blanket for $5 that is large enough to give you material for all of these nicely sewn items? I'm in the process of self teaching myself to sew with a friends sewing machine. Maybe that is why my material doesn't turn into very many items. LOL

    Cage Combining two C&C cages

I suggest your original idea, but don't take down the grids. Instead, keep a grid length space between the one pushed up against the one pushed furthest into corner. Then build up a 1x2 loft. This will connect the two cages, plus it will give you a space below it to put a storage hamper or box.
