My six year old guinea pig ( his name was Timmy too) just passed away. He seemed to be doing everything you described; when you take your guinea pig out for floor time, does he run around like normal or does he stop every few minutes and just stare? that is what mine did.

My sister does that every year! And now she got all my friends to do it too it is really annoying.

My sister's pig had lice, so we put a small drop of ivermectin behind each ear. All the lice died and we haven't seen any live ones since. Cavy lice can't be transmitted to humans. Hope this helps!

We got the new pig, and we were going to introduce him to the other pigs today when we found out he had lice! fun stuff So. . . how long after treatment should we wait before introducing him to the other pigs?

Hi, I have two boars that get along ok, but now my sister wants to get a guinea pig and put him with mine. Is this a bad idea? My guinea pigs just recently started getting along well, and I am not sure if adding another guinea pig will upset the peace. The cage will be a 3 by 7 if we add another.

Is white fleece a bad idea? Does it make stains show up more?:confused:

It wasn't popcorning. He was sitting still when he did it. He is not doing it anymore though.

He seems perfectly fine today. He has not tilted his head once. lol If he starts doing anything weird again I will take him to the vet. Thanks for all your help.

Every few minutes my guinea pig will turn his head to the side and bend it down. He just started doing it today. Any ideas what it could be? thanks
