C&C What do you put your C&C cage on top of?

I built myself a table for the cage. The table ended up taking more room than expected, but I fit a bigger cage on it! It's 2' high, 5' long, 5' wide.

How Many? What to do if one of a bonded pair passes?

Two to three years, depending on how I early graduate and how many credits my college of choice gives me for the advanced diploma I'm earning. It should be a six months to a year of credit, so feasibly up to three and a half years.

How Many? What to do if one of a bonded pair passes?

Hey, Luna here. I hate to have to address this topic, but I'm quite worried. My piggies have lived together for six years. They were purchased from the same pet shop (given to me as a present, I had no say in where they came from) and are getting on a bit in age. By the time I leave home for...

Fleece Easy Fleece Tunnel Tutorial! (Sewing required)

Just throw it in the wash with your other fleece. If you shake it out every day or so, it should be good for a week or two, since pee will wick through the bottom layer. I like this more than the ones with boning because I'm afraid my piggies would chew into that somehow.

Fleece Easy Fleece Tunnel Tutorial! (Sewing required)

PS- the images in the original post are in order. I'll be making another soon as they love, love, love this! It's entirely of my own design also. The snuggle sack version is even easier. Here's some photos of the tunnel I just made!

Fleece Easy Fleece Tunnel Tutorial! (Sewing required)

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my tutorial for a simple and adorable tunnel. It's easy, no complicated math, and the stitching is simple too. Materials Fleece- at least one color, obviously, but you could theoretically use up to six. I used three in the tutorial Sewing machine...

Chat Let me draw your guinea pigs!

Gorgeous! I hope you don't mind me adding another to your list. I'd like realistic, in black and white or color, whichever you prefer. This is a photo of them plus my puppy Sailor when he had just come home. I have another of the pigs with his twin, Willow, but I like this one better. The...

Chat have you created any elaborate passageways and nooks like this for your wheekers?

Imagine trying to clean that with piggies though.

Chat so my kid wants a guinea pig...

Great method! I got piggies for Christmas when I was younger as a shared present for my brother and I. I'd been working all year to get my own pet, like your daughter, and my brother did not. I wish my parents had applied your method! I ended up taking over full care over both piggies a few days...

    Hello! Two spoiled piggies here!

Thanks! The cage is the equivalent of a 2 by 6 plus a 1 by 2 upper level in grids- that's how I ordered it. However, it's easier to make it more square and I think the pigs like the increased space. A 2 by 6 is about sixteen square feet. My cage gives them about twenty square feet including the...

    Hello! Two spoiled piggies here!

Hi all, it's Luna. I've kept piggies for six years, a boar and sow pair. Their names are Bubbles and Sugarpuff respectively. They're Americans and very cute. Sugarpuff is my avatar, Bubbles wouldn't pose for a photo, unfortunately. They have a custom C&C comprised of a kitchen area and two 2 by...
