I can't take her right now as it is midnight here in Aus, but I can't sleep because I'm so worried! All the vets here are closed on a Sunday, so I'll call on Monday to organise an appointment.

I have an update for everyone! Chai turned out to be a beautiful little girl, and I found her a new home where she lives with her new best friend, Boo. She was renamed by her new owner - Minnie. Xena, I kept. She is just the most beautiful little thing! She weighs in at nearly 200 grams now...

Well, when I had my peruvians last year (adopted them out because its too hot for them) I would use nail scissors, as they are smaller and finer to cut. And I usually cut my own hair, and, as silly as it sounds but works, I use a leg razor on the ends so that each hair looks less 'chopped' :)...

I have two moments... The first, when I taught Cookie her tricks...she does them now with simple hand commands. If I circle my finger above her head, she twirls. If I click my fingers above of her head she stands on her hind legs, and if I put my hand out, she high fives me!

Thanks, I've been gently using a warm washcloth to clear the gunk and massage the bottom eyelid as @bpatters suggested. It still seems to be there, but other than that he is indeed completely healthy. :)
